Overview
Viva City offers the ability to push different types of notifications to Microsoft Teams and Slack. You can access to this page through the "Settings" > "Notifications" > "Chat" tab. This setting will be applicable to everyone within the company.
With the settings here, you can enable or disable the notifications based on your preference.
You can set up the notification according to your preferred application.
*Note: Viva City can only support one chat at the moment
Microsoft Teams
We need to create a new incoming webhook for Microsoft Teams to get the notifications. You can follow this website for the steps to create the incoming hook.
Once you have completed the steps above, click the "Connect" button which will offer a prompt to paste the URL.
Click "Save" to complete the setup.
Once this is completed, you can enable or disable the notifications based on the topic you are interested in.
Slack
Please follow the steps on this website to create the incoming webhook.
After completing the creation of the webhook, you can copy the URL to the popup that is showing after clicking the "Connect" button.
WeCom
