Adding promotions to your mini-program (MP) is a great way to keep your followers and students informed and engaged. It's also a proven method for increasing interaction and attracting new users. Luckily, setting up promotions on Viva City's platform is easy!
Before You Begin:
- Compile Promotion Details: Please ensure you have gathered all relevant information regarding your promotion, such as discount codes, special offers, or event announcements.
- Prepare Promotional Graphics: Create an eye-catching image in the correct dimensions (see our see the guide here.)
Understanding some key terms will help you create effective promotions
- We are supporting different types of promotions and choose the right one that suits your needs.
Promotion Type Description Property A property that you like a user to go after tapping on the banner Article Link to the article that is defined on the Article Pages CTA (Call To Action) A button that encourages users to take a specific action (e.g., "Learn More" or "Book Now"). Channel Video Open the connected WeChat Channel Video Featured Properties This will return a list of featured properties after tapping on the banner Properties List This will return the list of properties defined in the "Properties" tab Search Support customised list of properties based on the search function (Advanced users)
- The following is the explanation for other fields on the form:
Field Description Start / End Date Allow you to schedule the promotion based on the start & end dates. Show in All Properties Set this when you want to show the promotion on all the properties' detailed pages. If you want to show the promotion only specific to a property, please define it on the "Properties" tab. Show in All Cities Set this when you want to show the promotion on every city's home page. If you want to limit the display of the promotion on a specific city, you need to add that city to the "Cities" tab. Add Tag Words Suggest you put some simple words to attract users' attention like "Special" in Chinese, or "Discounts". These tag words will be shown on the listing and the detailed page Enable Pop Up Allow you to enable the popup of the promotion when we first launch the mini program
- "Save and Publish" the promotion when you are ready with the creation of the promotion.
